It is believed that the ashes of this Jyoti can cure any illness. It is a beautiful amalgamation of solace and pristine nature.

How to reach Kasar Devi

Kasar Devi Temple is perched in the midst of mesmerizing Kumaon Hills. It is situated just 8 km away from the Almora district of Uttarakhand. This region is easily accessible to everyone. You can opt for any mode of transportation at your convenience to feel the solace.

By Air

Pantnagar airport, which is 124 km away from the shrine, is the nearest one. After this, you can opt for Buses or cabs, which are easily available. 

By Rail

Being in the hilly region the temperature seems to drop down much during the winter season one can enjoy the snowfall in the month of December and January while the summer season is much more pleasurable with a maximum temperature of 25 degrees. Further, the roads that lead to the shrine are curved and ascending so it’s best to avoid the visit during the monsoon time and if you are someone who loves to travel in moderate climatic conditions then the spring months of March and May take the ideal spot.
